Mark Constance is a partner in the production company, a713production with his wife Bethany.
Mark began his film career in 1991 as an Assistant Director and has been a member of the
Director’s Guild of America since 1993. He was bestowed with a DGA Award for his work on
the HBO Mini-Series OLIVE KITTERIDGE. He has worked on two projects that have been
nominated for the Academy Award Best Picture: CAPTAIN PHILLIPS and BEING JOHN
MALKOVICH. His many other projects include JASON BOURNE, TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF
THE MACHINES, THE COMPANY MEN, CHARLIE’S ANGELS, THE LAST CASTLE, BAD BOYS II
and TROUBLE.
Mark is is in post-production on the TV pilot, THE PROVIDER a Boston crime fmily drama. He is
currently working on several new projects including the mystical drama MEDILLIA’S LAMENT,
and the period piece LOSING JERRY, based on the cult following of the Grateful Dead
Constance produced the highly celebrated film THE SENSATION OF SIGHT, starring David
Strathairn and Ian Somerhalder, KILLING DINNER, a black comedy about a trio of ex-assassins
involved in a love triangle and the paranormal drama CROOKED LANE.
Mark has two dream projects he yearns to bring to life, the novels, GREEN GIRLS and REVERE
BEACH BOULEVARD from acclaimed authors Michael Kimball and Roland Merullo.
Mark directed the film TROUBLE about children dealing with the difficulting of growing up in
the modern world and his foray into directing commercials began on a Maidenform Bra spot
and he has produced and directed commercials and multiple music videos. Constance has a
slate of projects he is developing to direct including aforementioned MEDILLIA’S LAMENT.
